Ready, Set Go! Let's adventure to the  Hottest, Coldest, Highest, Deepest! Week 5 PPT Story Last week in A2, we were busy reviewing our story words, RWN vocabulary, and spelling. With these skills fresh in mind, we are now ready to dive into our exciting new story, Hottest, Coldest, Highest, Deepest! In week 5, the students will explore amazing destinations around the globe and learn fascinating facts about each one. Together, we will locate these extreme places on a world map, helping students see where in the world these marvels can be found. Later this week, students will take on a fun and creative project—designing their very own travel brochure . Each child will be assigned one destination from the story and given a brochure template to guide them. Their job will be to write about why this place is so amazing, how to travel there, and include other interesting details that will make their brochure both exciting and informative. Week 4 begins with a new story of Hottest, Coldest, Highest, Deepest Week 4 PPT This expository text details some of the most amazing places on Earth. There is information about the longest river—the Nile—to the snowiest place on Earth—Mt. Rainier and many other facts and interesting places. This week, Sensay will be implemented for homework. I hope students will use the tool to record their reading skills and increase their self-confidence. 

Week 3

  This week will be an intensive week of learning as we complete The Man Who Invented Basketball . Students will be introduced to a new set of story words, though words #7, #8, and #22 will not be included in testing out of respect for personal beliefs and values . Alongside the story words and story comprehension, students will also focus on grammar with an introduction to pronouns. To conclude the week, our unit test on Thursday will cover the key components taught throughout these daily lessons.
