  Spelling PPT Dear Parents, As we approach the final days of Grade 4 A2, we are working to complete all remaining semester requirements, including our final writing assignment, Memories of Grade 4 , which is due this week with a parental signature on the cover page. Students are also submitting their writing portfolios from throughout the semester for review and assessment by our English Director and Principal. At the same time, the school has many end-of-year activities and events scheduled for students this week. While these opportunities are valuable and enjoyable, they can make maintaining a regular classroom schedule more challenging. Despite these interruptions, I have introduced the Coyote School News story and presentation of words so that students can become familiar with the material as we continue to follow our curriculum plan as closely as possible, with no quizzes or tests.   A2 final exams will be returned today, Thursday, June 19. I am very pleased with the overall results, as most students demonstrated meaningful improvement and are making strong progress toward their academic goals as they prepare for Grade 5. It has been a wonderful and rewarding year in A2. Throughout the year, students have developed important reading, writing, vocabulary, and language skills that will serve as a strong foundation for future success. Their reading abilities have grown significantly, with students demonstrating greater fluency, comprehension, and confidence when reading a variety of texts. They have learned to identify key details, sequence events, distinguish between facts and opinions, and make connections between ideas within a passage. In writing, students have shown impressive growth in their ability to organize their thoughts, write complete and detailed sentences, and express their ideas clearly.   As we enter the final weeks of Grade 4, our A2 students will soon be taking their final exams. As their teacher, I am committed to helping them prepare thoroughly so they can confidently demonstrate the skills and knowledge they have developed throughout the semester and achieve the best results possible.  I kindly ask for your support in encouraging your child to follow the review instructions provided in class and to pace their studying appropriately. Students must review consistently without becoming overwhelmed by attempting to study all of the semester's material at once. Please remember that the final examinations are standardized across all levels and are not designed exclusively for A-Level students.  My review schedule has been carefully planned to ensure that each exam component is practiced and reviewed promptly, leading up to the testing dates.
