Week 10 Review Week

    As we approach review week for the midterm exams, students will be preparing for three key assessment components: The Listening Exam, Oral Exam, and Written Exam.

   The Listening Exam (Tuesday, April 14) will follow a true listening format. The teacher will read the questions aloud, and students will select the correct answers on a provided answer sheet. While there is no formal review packet for this component, students are encouraged to review their communication books, focusing on vocabulary definitions, word collocations, and proper usage.

   For the Oral Exam (Thursday – Friday, April 16-17) students will be asked to retell a story based on a sequence of pictures selected randomly from a set of three. To support preparation, the oral exam picture sets will be redistributed to all A2 students in color for review.

  Regarding the Written Exam (Tuesday, April 21) All G4 students will be provided with comprehensive review materials, including a Grade 4–level worksheet for practice. These resources are intended to reinforce key concepts and ensure students are well-prepared.

   We encourage all students to take full advantage of the provided materials and review opportunities to build confidence and achieve success in their midterm assessments.

Week 3

  This week will be an intensive week of learning as we complete The Man Who Invented Basketball . Students will be introduced to a new set of story words, though words #7, #8, and #22 will not be included in testing out of respect for personal beliefs and values . Alongside the story words and story comprehension, students will also focus on grammar with an introduction to pronouns. To conclude the week, our unit test on Thursday will cover the key components taught throughout these daily lessons.
